Course Description
An advanced research and methods course on reconstructing past climates through tree-rings and understanding anthropological and archaeological perspectives on climate-human behavior relationships. Students will sample living trees, measure ring-widths, use specialized software to create a climate reconstruction, and compare the reconstruction to a proximate human history.
