Description
Students who have taken French, Italian, or Spanish in high school must take a computerized placement test before enrolling in a language or literature course in the Department of French. We strongly recommend that they take the 20-minute test online upon their arrival at the college.
A student majoring in French has two French major options:
French and Francophone Studies (10 units)
Romance Languages (French Major; Second language focus in either Spanish, Italian, or Portuguese; 12 units)
